Hi guys!
Im back from the mall and Im really really really turning into a bloody housewife I swear.
I bought detergent and another MOP!
Refusing to budge, I stood in the middle of all the cleaning brands studiously examining the prices, ingredients and wat-not as if my life depended on it.
I wasnt even so serious when I took my exams back in school.
Is age catching up with me???

It was such a smash.
I missed my girlies and although it was a short meet-up, I do treasure my time with them.

I wore my pink pink dress (pink is love.) and I put a flower in my hair that night.
Dunno where the flower came from though.. I think it was from one of my tops.
Ha!
I pretty much took a black pin and kiamp the thing in my head.
I loved how the train looked from behind.
Absolutely smitten.
And I did like the food!
I thought the fish was pretty fresh too, but I normally dun eat much at weddings becoz got image to maintain mah..(as if!)

It was rather impromptu but a pretty great look that my auntie hairstylist had done.

I wish everyone love and peace.. its amazingly fast coming to the end of another year isnt it?
As I grow older I tend to cherish everyone around me more becoz I know that the world doesnt just evolve around Jungle Boy and me.
If u think I look younger n younger, I guess its becoz I dun sweat the small stuff now!
Stress is such a killer.
Now I just relax and take things as it is.
If I wanna buy something, I just buy.
If I wanna go somewhere, I pretty much just take off.
Life is about slowing down and appreciating everything and everyone around us.
Take time to listen to the birds chirping in the morning and u will be pleasantly surprised what a good start it might be to your hectic day.

Hi guys!
Im so sorry for being MIA (Missing-In-Action) for so bloody long but its becoz I was busy meeting up with friends and spending precious time with Jungle Boy becoz he flew off for business again this week.
And for our future, he has to work very hard u noe?
:p
The company is getting more and more busy now, so Jungle Boy has to fly to the site every week now.
:(
And then I have to earn my keep, -so its also back to work for me!
For those who wonder.. Jungle Boy doesnt pay for my shopping.
So I got to work very hard.. becoz I have such a deadly fevered passion for shopping..sigh.
Keke.
Last week was a whirlwind of activities and I was away for a week so I had lots catching up to do back home!
I missed Yoga so much and now Im picking up jogging around my estate.
Great time to work out before the sun sets and then I get to do alittle kpo-ing with the neighbours.
If not for the jog this evening, I wouldnt have found out where the neighbourhood little white and brown cat has been... to the next, next door!
Quite fun actually.
First up.. pictures to my Mummy's birthday dinner!
Simple fare at Lao Beijing Plaza Sing.
The food's alright but thumbs up for attentive service even though it was a holiday weekend.
The very kind captain had cheerfully thrown in free 'Longevity' buns when she found out that we were celebrating a birthday.
The wait staff was professional and extremely cheerful.
Now hows that for a great dining experience?
Tung Lok should be holding training workshops for staff from other restaurants coz they have such great service personnel.
I went to blow my hair.
Costs ard $30 per trip, but its well worth the time.
I find it such a simple luxury when Im free becoz I get a new style without the damage of a perm.
But p.s, I never let them tong it.
I prefer the traditional way of blow-drying it with a brush.
And I always ask for the auntie auntie to do.. coz they are so expert in it!
The newer hairstylist usually dun do a proper job coz everyone uses tongs these days.
One more, ah.
Lurveee how absolutely shiny the ends look.
This is after spraying a gizllion ton of hairspray on it when I got home becoz of the humidity in Singapore.. curls never last long!

Then I met up with my polymates.
OMG.. 10 years seem like a very long time.. but wow!
I am so surprised I had such a great time catching up.
I wish there were more.. but sadly we lost some contacts thru the years.
We vowed to do it more often!

Im really glad Jungle Boy trusts me wherever I go.. and he doesnt mind if I go out with my male friends becoz he knows we are platonic.
He doesnt call to check on me, doesnt care what I wear, nor does he insist on meeting them.
Maybe becoz he's older.. hmm I dunno.
Or in his own words.. "Im confident!" ahahhahahah.. I want to laugh.
But I treat him as an adult too.. so I seldom check on him although I do make a big show of asking him where he's going, whats he's doing etc.
Its more like a joke becoz he always laments in mock exasperation to others how 'TIGERESS' I can be.
Well, if a man wants to stray, - he will.
And if a woman wants to leave, she will, too.
I've often ask myself, what will I do if he leaves me?
Yes I will cry n be sad.. but at the end of the day I will pick myself and go on with life becoz if he doesnt want to be with me, then I dun wanna be with him either.
And trust me, I've been through shit before.
My life aint a bed of roses, ok.
There was once I loved a man so much I forgot who I am.
I craved for his attention and became someone I am not.
I waited for his calls alot, I went out even I was tired becoz I wanted to be 'nice'.
It took me 2 years to move on and we are friends til today but if u ask me what would I redo everything in life if I had the chance, I would say no.
Becoz its lessons like this which molded me to who I become.
When I first got to know Jungle Boy, I told myself that I will never pretend to be who Im not.
So I actually turned him down the very first time he called me out.
It wasnt that I was playing hard to get, but I was really tired and I needed time to recuperate and my favourite thing is to do is to nua at home, so I didnt want to go out.
And I also told myself that if he was really genuine, he would call me again.
(He proceeded to sms me nearly everyday.)

Well, he did.. and that was it was slightly more than a week later until we really went out.
And he brought me to a kopitiam.
But I didnt mind becoz the food was great!

And u guys should know what a tum jiak person I am.. I think food tastes best in not-so-pristine places.
But to Jungle Boy, it was a test too.
He wanted to see how I would react.
Well, too bad Im not those girly girly girl who only eats in atas places.
So I think we both liked what we saw and fast forward afew years later, we still go to hawker centres all the time and I still tell him I very nua whenever Im at home.
Haha, I think I've divulged alittle too much this time round but Im missing him alot so thinking of the past makes our current distance apart alittle closer.

I wear abt 2 inches high boots and mine are full leather but they last forever.
If u dun intend to use them alot, then u should get low heel, cheaper ones. Just make sure they are really comfortable and pack other pairs of shoes!

Had dinner in Marina Square and the service was lackluster to say the least.
Frankly, I dun expect intense enthusiasm from wait staff at all, - but to forget my order while standing BEHIND our table talking in a group of four is not funny.
It simply means you dun even bother, lor.
And then it was repeated topping up of lukewarm (!!) green tea and the table next to us had a wrong order or something coz we heard some commotion.
All these happened while there were barely 5 tables filled in the bloody restaurant.

Now I know why.
Its quite sad really, if foreign workers dun have proper training before being in frontline service.
I dun discriminate foreign workers, but if u come all the way here to work u might as work properly, no?
No names will be mentioned.. But if u ask, I will tell.

My colleague had a great time at work already, coz he was diagnosed many years back (but under control then) - I guess things took a turn for the worse recently and due to medical reasons he was advised to take an early retirement.
But frankly my other colleagues were great!!! *thumbs up*
They had a donation booth set up and it was very inspiring seeing banners and cards done up for him n his family! :D

Hiya!
I woke up at 7.30am for yogasana and took a quick swim before the sun came out in full force.
I am a dark dark person.. and just a minute under the glare will make me two shades darker, a dream for everyone who wants a tan.. but not for me!
The worst part is that everyone misunderstands me from the colour of my skin becoz they usually think I love suntanning.. which is not true!
The sun causes u to age considerably, and while u might not see the after-effects immediately, - it will usually show up in a couple of years.
Thats why I try to swim between 9am-11am latest and avoid being under direct sunlight from 12pm-2pm where the rays are the strongest.
:)
Eh, but still I get a tan.
Anyways!
Im a happy girl today becoz Im planning a dinner with my girlies and we are going to talk about.. yes.. WEDDINGS!
My dearest BFF has decided to hold her banquet next year at Sheraton Towers and she has already put a deposit for the place.
I foresee being very busy becoz they are so many things to help her with, to plan, to sabo (the groom looor..) and to do.
We have so many things to discuss, and that includes flowers and weeeeedding gowns!
So exciting becoz who doesnt love weddings?
(Hua: Only u put up ur hand.. I know.)
But its my BFF so u betcha Im gonna try my very best to help her!
Having gone thru one BFF's wedding already.. we are all so bloody excited at the next becoz this is a sure sign of us growing up and growing old together.
But then its another headache.. coz I still dunno what to wear.
AGAIN!
Im trying my best to lose weight healthily now so hopefully I will achieve my goal of 3-4kg by the end of next year.
I will never crash diet becoz of its harmful effects to the body so Im taking my own sweet time to go down a dress size.
Esp my fatty face...coz if u noticed, - I have chipmunk cheeks!
Sometimes Jungle Boy pinches them and sings in a chipmunk voice.

Speaking of him.. 48 more hours til I see him! Gambatte neh!
Last night I cleared my closet and felt amazingly happy.
Maybe tomorrow I shall re-arrange my bags and shoesssss.
Am wanting to buy a new bag!

When Jungle Boy and me suddenly had a pretty last minute craving for ramen.
Sorry I've been so late coz Im been trying to spend alittle more time with him coz he has to fly off for business tomorrow.
And not before dropping by the office for a meeting before leaving for the airport.
This afternoon he ordered pizza, garlic bread, lasagna and chicken wings, so we stayed in to watch F1 before I go work.
And so I ate and ate and ate.. and there goes my diet for the wedding I have to attend in 3 weeks time!

Im a weird person coz I do like going out alone in the afternoons.
Although I love meeting my girlfriends and loved ones.. there are many times where I enjoy sipping a cuppa java alone and thinking about life in general.
Its so much easier running errands alone too.. I go places (like the heartland!) and shop for toothpaste, then at my whim and fancy I run off and go home to take a nap.
Its so much more fun sometimes.. esp when Im not in a mood for conversation.
But sometimes.. I have plenty of fun with babies!
(Or baby...for that matter.)

I am very very sad today becoz I've just discovered that my colleague is suffering from a mobile disability.
Its kinda like the Parkinson disease and while it is not fatal, my colleague has to leave the job very soon.
This is a blow considering that his wife has recently recovered from ear cancer and he has a daughter with Down's Syndrome.
He is such a wonderful person, and is so brillant in his own magical way.
I am very upset after hearing the news.
Nevertheless, I wish him all the best and pray God to give him the strength.

Hi guys!
Im back from the mall and Im really really really turning into a bloody housewife I swear.
I bought detergent and another MOP!
Refusing to budge, I stood in the middle of all the cleaning brands studiously examining the prices, ingredients and wat-not as if my life depended on it.
I wasnt even so serious when I took my exams back in school.
Is age catching up with me???

I thought the fish was pretty fresh too, but I normally dun eat much at weddings becoz got image to maintain mah..(as if!)

As I grow older I tend to cherish everyone around me more becoz I know that the world doesnt just evolve around Jungle Boy and me.
If u think I look younger n younger, I guess its becoz I dun sweat the small stuff now!
Stress is such a killer.
Now I just relax and take things as it is.
If I wanna buy something, I just buy.
If I wanna go somewhere, I pretty much just take off.
Life is about slowing down and appreciating everything and everyone around us.
Take time to listen to the birds chirping in the morning and u will be pleasantly surprised what a good start it might be to your hectic day.

Hi guys!
Im so sorry for being MIA (Missing-In-Action) for so bloody long but its becoz I was busy meeting up with friends and spending precious time with Jungle Boy becoz he flew off for business again this week.
And for our future, he has to work very hard u noe?
:p
The company is getting more and more busy now, so Jungle Boy has to fly to the site every week now.
:(
And then I have to earn my keep, -so its also back to work for me!
For those who wonder.. Jungle Boy doesnt pay for my shopping.
So I got to work very hard.. becoz I have such a deadly fevered passion for shopping..sigh.
Keke.
Last week was a whirlwind of activities and I was away for a week so I had lots catching up to do back home!
I missed Yoga so much and now Im picking up jogging around my estate.
Great time to work out before the sun sets and then I get to do alittle kpo-ing with the neighbours.
If not for the jog this evening, I wouldnt have found out where the neighbourhood little white and brown cat has been... to the next, next door!
Quite fun actually.
First up.. pictures to my Mummy's birthday dinner!
Simple fare at Lao Beijing Plaza Sing.
The food's alright but thumbs up for attentive service even though it was a holiday weekend.
The very kind captain had cheerfully thrown in free 'Longevity' buns when she found out that we were celebrating a birthday.
The wait staff was professional and extremely cheerful.
Now hows that for a great dining experience?
Tung Lok should be holding training workshops for staff from other restaurants coz they have such great service personnel.
I went to blow my hair.
Costs ard $30 per trip, but its well worth the time.
I find it such a simple luxury when Im free becoz I get a new style without the damage of a perm.
But p.s, I never let them tong it.
I prefer the traditional way of blow-drying it with a brush.
And I always ask for the auntie auntie to do.. coz they are so expert in it!
The newer hairstylist usually dun do a proper job coz everyone uses tongs these days.
One more, ah.
Lurveee how absolutely shiny the ends look.
This is after spraying a gizllion ton of hairspray on it when I got home becoz of the humidity in Singapore.. curls never last long!

Then I met up with my polymates.
OMG.. 10 years seem like a very long time.. but wow!
I am so surprised I had such a great time catching up.
I wish there were more.. but sadly we lost some contacts thru the years.
We vowed to do it more often!

Im really glad Jungle Boy trusts me wherever I go.. and he doesnt mind if I go out with my male friends becoz he knows we are platonic.
He doesnt call to check on me, doesnt care what I wear, nor does he insist on meeting them.
Maybe becoz he's older.. hmm I dunno.
Or in his own words.. "Im confident!" ahahhahahah.. I want to laugh.
But I treat him as an adult too.. so I seldom check on him although I do make a big show of asking him where he's going, whats he's doing etc.
Its more like a joke becoz he always laments in mock exasperation to others how 'TIGERESS' I can be.
Well, if a man wants to stray, - he will.
And if a woman wants to leave, she will, too.
I've often ask myself, what will I do if he leaves me?
Yes I will cry n be sad.. but at the end of the day I will pick myself and go on with life becoz if he doesnt want to be with me, then I dun wanna be with him either.
And trust me, I've been through shit before.
My life aint a bed of roses, ok.
There was once I loved a man so much I forgot who I am.
I craved for his attention and became someone I am not.
I waited for his calls alot, I went out even I was tired becoz I wanted to be 'nice'.
It took me 2 years to move on and we are friends til today but if u ask me what would I redo everything in life if I had the chance, I would say no.
Becoz its lessons like this which molded me to who I become.
When I first got to know Jungle Boy, I told myself that I will never pretend to be who Im not.
So I actually turned him down the very first time he called me out.
It wasnt that I was playing hard to get, but I was really tired and I needed time to recuperate and my favourite thing is to do is to nua at home, so I didnt want to go out.
And I also told myself that if he was really genuine, he would call me again.
(He proceeded to sms me nearly everyday.)

Well, he did.. and that was it was slightly more than a week later until we really went out.
And he brought me to a kopitiam.
But I didnt mind becoz the food was great!

And u guys should know what a tum jiak person I am.. I think food tastes best in not-so-pristine places.
But to Jungle Boy, it was a test too.
He wanted to see how I would react.
Well, too bad Im not those girly girly girl who only eats in atas places.
So I think we both liked what we saw and fast forward afew years later, we still go to hawker centres all the time and I still tell him I very nua whenever Im at home.
Haha, I think I've divulged alittle too much this time round but Im missing him alot so thinking of the past makes our current distance apart alittle closer.

I wear abt 2 inches high boots and mine are full leather but they last forever.
If u dun intend to use them alot, then u should get low heel, cheaper ones. Just make sure they are really comfortable and pack other pairs of shoes!

Had dinner in Marina Square and the service was lackluster to say the least.
Frankly, I dun expect intense enthusiasm from wait staff at all, - but to forget my order while standing BEHIND our table talking in a group of four is not funny.
It simply means you dun even bother, lor.
And then it was repeated topping up of lukewarm (!!) green tea and the table next to us had a wrong order or something coz we heard some commotion.
All these happened while there were barely 5 tables filled in the bloody restaurant.

Now I know why.
Its quite sad really, if foreign workers dun have proper training before being in frontline service.
I dun discriminate foreign workers, but if u come all the way here to work u might as work properly, no?

My colleague had a great time at work already, coz he was diagnosed many years back (but under control then) - I guess things took a turn for the worse recently and due to medical reasons he was advised to take an early retirement.

They had a donation booth set up and it was very inspiring seeing banners and cards done up for him n his family! :D

Hiya!
I woke up at 7.30am for yogasana and took a quick swim before the sun came out in full force.
I am a dark dark person.. and just a minute under the glare will make me two shades darker, a dream for everyone who wants a tan.. but not for me!
The worst part is that everyone misunderstands me from the colour of my skin becoz they usually think I love suntanning.. which is not true!
The sun causes u to age considerably, and while u might not see the after-effects immediately, - it will usually show up in a couple of years.
Thats why I try to swim between 9am-11am latest and avoid being under direct sunlight from 12pm-2pm where the rays are the strongest.
:)
Eh, but still I get a tan.
Anyways!
Im a happy girl today becoz Im planning a dinner with my girlies and we are going to talk about.. yes.. WEDDINGS!
My dearest BFF has decided to hold her banquet next year at Sheraton Towers and she has already put a deposit for the place.
I foresee being very busy becoz they are so many things to help her with, to plan, to sabo (the groom looor..) and to do.
We have so many things to discuss, and that includes flowers and weeeeedding gowns!
So exciting becoz who doesnt love weddings?
(Hua: Only u put up ur hand.. I know.)
But its my BFF so u betcha Im gonna try my very best to help her!
Having gone thru one BFF's wedding already.. we are all so bloody excited at the next becoz this is a sure sign of us growing up and growing old together.
But then its another headache.. coz I still dunno what to wear.

Im trying my best to lose weight healthily now so hopefully I will achieve my goal of 3-4kg by the end of next year.
I will never crash diet becoz of its harmful effects to the body so Im taking my own sweet time to go down a dress size.
Esp my fatty face...coz if u noticed, - I have chipmunk cheeks!
Sometimes Jungle Boy pinches them and sings in a chipmunk voice.

Speaking of him.. 48 more hours til I see him! Gambatte neh!
Last night I cleared my closet and felt amazingly happy.
Maybe tomorrow I shall re-arrange my bags and shoesssss.

Sorry I've been so late coz Im been trying to spend alittle more time with him coz he has to fly off for business tomorrow.
And not before dropping by the office for a meeting before leaving for the airport.
This afternoon he ordered pizza, garlic bread, lasagna and chicken wings, so we stayed in to watch F1 before I go work.
And so I ate and ate and ate.. and there goes my diet for the wedding I have to attend in 3 weeks time!

Im a weird person coz I do like going out alone in the afternoons.
Although I love meeting my girlfriends and loved ones.. there are many times where I enjoy sipping a cuppa java alone and thinking about life in general.
Its so much easier running errands alone too.. I go places (like the heartland!) and shop for toothpaste, then at my whim and fancy I run off and go home to take a nap.
Its so much more fun sometimes.. esp when Im not in a mood for conversation.
But sometimes.. I have plenty of fun with babies!
(Or baby...for that matter.)

I am very very sad today becoz I've just discovered that my colleague is suffering from a mobile disability.
Its kinda like the Parkinson disease and while it is not fatal, my colleague has to leave the job very soon.
This is a blow considering that his wife has recently recovered from ear cancer and he has a daughter with Down's Syndrome.
He is such a wonderful person, and is so brillant in his own magical way.
I am very upset after hearing the news.
Nevertheless, I wish him all the best and pray God to give him the strength.

Hi guys!
Im back from the mall and Im really really really turning into a bloody housewife I swear.
I bought detergent and another MOP!
Refusing to budge, I stood in the middle of all the cleaning brands studiously examining the prices, ingredients and wat-not as if my life depended on it.
I wasnt even so serious when I took my exams back in school.
Is age catching up with me???

If u think I look younger n younger, I guess its becoz I dun sweat the small stuff now!
Stress is such a killer.
Now I just relax and take things as it is.
If I wanna buy something, I just buy.
If I wanna go somewhere, I pretty much just take off.
Life is about slowing down and appreciating everything and everyone around us.
Take time to listen to the birds chirping in the morning and u will be pleasantly surprised what a good start it might be to your hectic day.

Hi guys!
Im so sorry for being MIA (Missing-In-Action) for so bloody long but its becoz I was busy meeting up with friends and spending precious time with Jungle Boy becoz he flew off for business again this week.
And for our future, he has to work very hard u noe?
:p
The company is getting more and more busy now, so Jungle Boy has to fly to the site every week now.
:(
And then I have to earn my keep, -so its also back to work for me!
For those who wonder.. Jungle Boy doesnt pay for my shopping.
So I got to work very hard.. becoz I have such a deadly fevered passion for shopping..sigh.
Keke.
Last week was a whirlwind of activities and I was away for a week so I had lots catching up to do back home!
I missed Yoga so much and now Im picking up jogging around my estate.
Great time to work out before the sun sets and then I get to do alittle kpo-ing with the neighbours.
If not for the jog this evening, I wouldnt have found out where the neighbourhood little white and brown cat has been... to the next, next door!
Quite fun actually.
First up.. pictures to my Mummy's birthday dinner!
Simple fare at Lao Beijing Plaza Sing.
The food's alright but thumbs up for attentive service even though it was a holiday weekend.
The very kind captain had cheerfully thrown in free 'Longevity' buns when she found out that we were celebrating a birthday.
The wait staff was professional and extremely cheerful.
Now hows that for a great dining experience?
Tung Lok should be holding training workshops for staff from other restaurants coz they have such great service personnel.
I went to blow my hair.
Costs ard $30 per trip, but its well worth the time.
I find it such a simple luxury when Im free becoz I get a new style without the damage of a perm.
But p.s, I never let them tong it.
I prefer the traditional way of blow-drying it with a brush.
And I always ask for the auntie auntie to do.. coz they are so expert in it!
The newer hairstylist usually dun do a proper job coz everyone uses tongs these days.
One more, ah.
Lurveee how absolutely shiny the ends look.
This is after spraying a gizllion ton of hairspray on it when I got home becoz of the humidity in Singapore.. curls never last long!

Then I met up with my polymates.
OMG.. 10 years seem like a very long time.. but wow!
I am so surprised I had such a great time catching up.
I wish there were more.. but sadly we lost some contacts thru the years.
We vowed to do it more often!

Im really glad Jungle Boy trusts me wherever I go.. and he doesnt mind if I go out with my male friends becoz he knows we are platonic.
He doesnt call to check on me, doesnt care what I wear, nor does he insist on meeting them.
Maybe becoz he's older.. hmm I dunno.
Or in his own words.. "Im confident!" ahahhahahah.. I want to laugh.
But I treat him as an adult too.. so I seldom check on him although I do make a big show of asking him where he's going, whats he's doing etc.
Its more like a joke becoz he always laments in mock exasperation to others how 'TIGERESS' I can be.
Well, if a man wants to stray, - he will.
And if a woman wants to leave, she will, too.
I've often ask myself, what will I do if he leaves me?
Yes I will cry n be sad.. but at the end of the day I will pick myself and go on with life becoz if he doesnt want to be with me, then I dun wanna be with him either.
And trust me, I've been through shit before.
My life aint a bed of roses, ok.
There was once I loved a man so much I forgot who I am.
I craved for his attention and became someone I am not.
I waited for his calls alot, I went out even I was tired becoz I wanted to be 'nice'.
It took me 2 years to move on and we are friends til today but if u ask me what would I redo everything in life if I had the chance, I would say no.
Becoz its lessons like this which molded me to who I become.
When I first got to know Jungle Boy, I told myself that I will never pretend to be who Im not.
So I actually turned him down the very first time he called me out.
It wasnt that I was playing hard to get, but I was really tired and I needed time to recuperate and my favourite thing is to do is to nua at home, so I didnt want to go out.
And I also told myself that if he was really genuine, he would call me again.
(He proceeded to sms me nearly everyday.)

Well, he did.. and that was it was slightly more than a week later until we really went out.
And he brought me to a kopitiam.
But I didnt mind becoz the food was great!

And u guys should know what a tum jiak person I am.. I think food tastes best in not-so-pristine places.
But to Jungle Boy, it was a test too.
He wanted to see how I would react.
Well, too bad Im not those girly girly girl who only eats in atas places.
So I think we both liked what we saw and fast forward afew years later, we still go to hawker centres all the time and I still tell him I very nua whenever Im at home.
Haha, I think I've divulged alittle too much this time round but Im missing him alot so thinking of the past makes our current distance apart alittle closer.

If u dun intend to use them alot, then u should get low heel, cheaper ones. Just make sure they are really comfortable and pack other pairs of shoes!

Had dinner in Marina Square and the service was lackluster to say the least.
Frankly, I dun expect intense enthusiasm from wait staff at all, - but to forget my order while standing BEHIND our table talking in a group of four is not funny.
It simply means you dun even bother, lor.
And then it was repeated topping up of lukewarm (!!) green tea and the table next to us had a wrong order or something coz we heard some commotion.
All these happened while there were barely 5 tables filled in the bloody restaurant.

Now I know why.
Its quite sad really, if foreign workers dun have proper training before being in frontline service.
I dun discriminate foreign workers, but if u come all the way here to work u might as work properly, no?

My colleague had a great time at work already, coz he was diagnosed many years back (but under control then) - I guess things took a turn for the worse recently and due to medical reasons he was advised to take an early retirement.
But frankly my other colleagues were great!!! *thumbs up*
They had a donation booth set up and it was very inspiring seeing banners and cards done up for him n his family! :D

Hiya!
I woke up at 7.30am for yogasana and took a quick swim before the sun came out in full force.
I am a dark dark person.. and just a minute under the glare will make me two shades darker, a dream for everyone who wants a tan.. but not for me!
The worst part is that everyone misunderstands me from the colour of my skin becoz they usually think I love suntanning.. which is not true!
The sun causes u to age considerably, and while u might not see the after-effects immediately, - it will usually show up in a couple of years.
Thats why I try to swim between 9am-11am latest and avoid being under direct sunlight from 12pm-2pm where the rays are the strongest.
:)
Eh, but still I get a tan.
Anyways!
Im a happy girl today becoz Im planning a dinner with my girlies and we are going to talk about.. yes.. WEDDINGS!
My dearest BFF has decided to hold her banquet next year at Sheraton Towers and she has already put a deposit for the place.
I foresee being very busy becoz they are so many things to help her with, to plan, to sabo (the groom looor..) and to do.
We have so many things to discuss, and that includes flowers and weeeeedding gowns!
So exciting becoz who doesnt love weddings?
(Hua: Only u put up ur hand.. I know.)
But its my BFF so u betcha Im gonna try my very best to help her!
Having gone thru one BFF's wedding already.. we are all so bloody excited at the next becoz this is a sure sign of us growing up and growing old together.
But then its another headache.. coz I still dunno what to wear.

Im trying my best to lose weight healthily now so hopefully I will achieve my goal of 3-4kg by the end of next year.
I will never crash diet becoz of its harmful effects to the body so Im taking my own sweet time to go down a dress size.
Esp my fatty face...coz if u noticed, - I have chipmunk cheeks!
Sometimes Jungle Boy pinches them and sings in a chipmunk voice.

Last night I cleared my closet and felt amazingly happy.

When Jungle Boy and me suddenly had a pretty last minute craving for ramen.
Sorry I've been so late coz Im been trying to spend alittle more time with him coz he has to fly off for business tomorrow.
And not before dropping by the office for a meeting before leaving for the airport.
This afternoon he ordered pizza, garlic bread, lasagna and chicken wings, so we stayed in to watch F1 before I go work.
And so I ate and ate and ate.. and there goes my diet for the wedding I have to attend in 3 weeks time!

Im a weird person coz I do like going out alone in the afternoons.
Although I love meeting my girlfriends and loved ones.. there are many times where I enjoy sipping a cuppa java alone and thinking about life in general.
Its so much easier running errands alone too.. I go places (like the heartland!) and shop for toothpaste, then at my whim and fancy I run off and go home to take a nap.
Its so much more fun sometimes.. esp when Im not in a mood for conversation.
But sometimes.. I have plenty of fun with babies!
(Or baby...for that matter.)

I am very very sad today becoz I've just discovered that my colleague is suffering from a mobile disability.
Its kinda like the Parkinson disease and while it is not fatal, my colleague has to leave the job very soon.
This is a blow considering that his wife has recently recovered from ear cancer and he has a daughter with Down's Syndrome.
He is such a wonderful person, and is so brillant in his own magical way.
I am very upset after hearing the news.
Nevertheless, I wish him all the best and pray God to give him the strength.
