Never Enough Champagne

Saturday, October 27, 2012

We celebrated our 1 year Wedding anniversary alone at White Rabbit, but because we share the same wedding anniversary with his parents, - we went to Sky On 57 for a second round of celebration.
The view was magnificent!
You can choose to chill outside if you're just having drinks
But we headed in tonight for dinner proper
Sky on 57 showcases a delectable array of Modern Asian Cuisine, delivered with warm Asian hospitality in a setting that offers a bird' s eye view of the city
Started the night with some bubbly yums!
"In a perfect world, everyone would have a glass of Champagne every evening"
-Willie Gluckstern
Cheers to the four of us!
We ordered the Soft shell crab for starters
The food in Sky on 57 is oriental, with a slight twist.
And one of their must-try items is the Foie Gras Xiao Long Bao - a personal favorite of mine. The Foie gras actually complements the sweetness of the pork in the dumpling and as it is done so subtlety, you will never find it too rich as compared to eating Foie gras alone. Perfection.
We come here from time to time becoz the hubs is totally in love with the Lobster Hokkien Noodles. And trust me, its really such a delectable dish! I love it too!
That night I had the suckling pig.
Too much meat for me though!
Was pushing it to the hubby at the end of the dish ~ hahaha
Love the service and friendly deposition of the wait staff.
Thank you for the surprise :)
p.s I have to mention this is the BEST macaroons that I've ever tasted. I dun dig sweet stuff usually but this Pandan Gula Melaka combination totally rocked my world.
Headed to nightcap to join friends in a small bar at Frankel Ave.
Hello, more bubbly!
Cheers!
Never enough.
Ended the night with laughs, love, bubbles and alot of great singing.
Selamat Hari Raya weekend and have a great one!
