A Reminder

Sunday, June 30, 2013

Hello everyone.
Yesterday a kind reader informed me that one of the products that I have previously reviewed, called "Bonjour Bonsoir" might have gotten into a bit of trouble with the authorities.
Alarmed, I decided to find out more and have realized that the "Bonjour - Morning Sachets" was recently detected by the HSA (Health Sciences Authority Singapore) to contain undeclared sibutramine on the 27th of June. Sibutramine was previously licensed as a prescription-only medicine for the treatment of obesity but the sale of sibutramine have been suspended in Singapore in Oct 2010.
It was only through HSA's laboratory testing, that the product mentioned was found to contain sibutramine, which was not declared on the products' labels.
I have immediately removed the blog review and side banner and would like to apologize to everyone for the inconvenience and possible distress caused.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions and for more information, I have included the HSA link below.
http://www.hsa.gov.sg/publish/hsaportal/en/news_events/press_releases/2013/hsa_seizes_over_25.html
There are a total of FOUR brands mentioned in the above link and I strongly urge you to take a look at the list and share it with any one you know that might be consuming these products.
Once again, I do apologize for the inconvenience caused to my readers.
:(
Reminder: Due to the potential adverse effects of sibutramine found in the four slimming products, HSA advises consumers to stop the use of these products immediately and to consult their doctors if they feel unwell after taking these products or have other concerns about their health.
