Im sooo soooo terribly sorry that I had to miss our previous steamboat session, my darlings!
But I know they wouldn't scold me.. coz they is love me one. #notshy
The menu at Axis Bar & Lounge
Its my first time there at the Mandarin Oriental for high tea, and I like how cozy and quiet the place is. The view overlooking the city was quite lovely too.
Our starters was a really delicious champagne jelly, topped with a cherry!
It was really really yummy and it tasted of champagne! Cool and refreshing, I could have another two servings of it if they offered!
Their cappuccino was perfectly frothy too, with a hint of cocoa powder.
Just the way I like it.
The hi-tea set comes with a selection of savory and sweets.
Their mini scones came warm and I particularly liked the dried sour cherries and rose scones!
The mini sandwiches was nothing out of the ordinary, though.

After our hi-tea set was cleared, the staff promptly served our mini canapes
Smoked salmon rose with ikura
Our final serving was the pastries but we didn't really like it much so it was pretty left untouched.
But it was such a great catch-up with my lovely Kitty girls!
Love each one of them sooo much!
