Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream Review

[Review] Hi everyone! As you know, with my recent holiday to China - it was still winter and I was battling the cold every single day! Its humid in Singapore, but its actually very dry and shivery in China especially with the winds and the heaters in hotel rooms! I dunno what's with hotels but I always end up with itchy scaly skin but this time round, I was thankful to have my trusty Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream to beat the dry weather conditions and provide much-needed moisture to my parched skin.
HIMALAYA HERBALS NOURISHING SKIN CREAM
Actually our skin is like a sensitivity meter - often reflecting problems inside the body. Various micro-organisms, pollutants, allergens and irritants affect skin adversely, causing skin irritation and skin problems. Therefore, I am now quite careful with the products I use and recently I intend to use more natural, herbal and holistic skin products as not to aggravate my naturally sensitive skin any further.
When I received the Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream, I was due to leave for China for a couple of days and I know that my skin always flares up in dry weather conditions (I have a slight eczema skin condition on my legs) ~ so I decided to bring the cream along for the trip.
What is Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream?
Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream is a light and non-greasy daily use cream, that provides you all day moisturizing, nourishment and protection.
It is enriched with Aloe vera which nourishes and moisturizes, and Winter cherry and Indian kino tree extracts, that protect your skin from pollution and dry weather.
How does it work?
Aloe Vera possesses properties that help to moisturize and hydrate the skin and this prevents trans-epidermal water loss. Winter Cherry (Withania Somnifera) roots possess glycosides which exhibit potent anti-oxidant and skin conditioning benefits.
First Impressions : Each tub (comes in 150ml and 50ml) is so light and handy and perfect for travel! The packaging is simple, with almost no-frills and the list of ingredients, manufacturing, expiry dates printed clearly at the back. Each tub is sealed for hygiene purposes which is great so that you are assured that each product is brand new and is not contaminated. I caught a slight whiff of the winter cherry scent, but overall, the fragrance is not over-powering. The cream glides on smoothly and did not leave any oiliness on my skin.
The Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream is free from harmful ingredients and it is Dermatologically tested and Hypoallergenic, suitable for all skin types and for Face and Body.
How to use?
Apply it all over your body, especially on dry areas eg. Elbows and knees. For all skin types, it can be used as a makeup base. For best results, apply regularly on skin.
Overall Review : I like how easy this cream slathers on without leaving any stickiness! I also like how the Himalaya Nourishing Skin Cream brand advocates on using pure ingredients in all their products and how it is family-owned since 1930 as they grow their own herbs and has control on their production from seed-to-shelf with no middlemen. This not only ensures  the quality of their ingredients, they also keep the prices low and reasonable. At $5.30(50ml) and $12.90 (150ml), this Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream is extremely value-for-money and is perfect for the family. I like to use it on my body as it keeps my skin deeply moisturized without aggravating my eczema condition. As my skin becomes itchy in dry weather, thankfully I had my Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream with me during my travels to keep my skin well-hydrated. I love to use it on the soles of my feet especially! The light texture of the creme is also perfect for our local weather and now that Im back from China, I have been using it religiously and I find that the light texture absorbs quickly without any sticky after-feel. Did you also know that the Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Cream works just as well as a makeup base for the face? It is hypoallergenic, thus making it suitable for all skin types. By applying a thin layer, it moisturizes my face to help my makeup glide on smoothly.
