The *New* Spring in Full Bloom - Nantucket Briar Review

Enjoy the scents of Spring with the limited edition family size of 500ml of the well-loved Bath and Shower Gel & Scented Body Lotion. Delicately fragranced, the gentle Crabtree & Evelyn Bath and Shower Gel creates a smooth lather in the shower, brilliant bubbles in the bath and a splash of elegance in your daily routine.
I received the "Nantucket Briar" scent -  which blends the fragrance of wild briar roses and ambergris with notes of citrusy bergamot, vanilla and earthy patchouli.
Fragrance Family: Floral Oriental
Top Notes: Bergamot, Citrus, Dianthus
Middle Notes: Wild Briar Rose, Peony, Hydrangea, Jasmine
Base Notes: Patchouli, Amber, Vanilla
Review : I was intrigued on how the "Nantucket Briar" would smell on me so I used it immediately, hence this review lol. I really like the notes of floral in the Bath & Shower Gel which was subtle yet not over-powering. The lather was good especially when I used my bath sponge so I did enjoy using it in the shower. The Scented Body Lotion was easy to apply and it absorbed quickly without leaving a sticky feeling like many lotions in the market. Most importantly, I am really pleased with the scent of this Nantucket Briar collection as its unique notes left me feeling reminiscent of idyllic summer days without smelling too sweet or cloying.

  1. Personal experience, the crowds at such baby fairs are so bad you end up not buying much and just wanna get out. Maybe it was just me. I did manage to get a pram for my #1 at a fair.. everything else I got outside. Sometimes individual shops and retailers might have better deals. Some warehouse type at kaki bukit and chai chee might be worth a visit. Have fun at the fair.. its part and parcel of being first time parents!
