[Review + Giveaway] *GIVEAWAY CLOSED* Winner will be announced soon!
Hi guys! Sorry for being away ~ after I fell sick it was time for baby to start teething and the poor boy is soooo cranky sometimes! In addition, he's starting to be abit whiny and is such a complain king, he really astonishes me sometimes! Haha! He loves to sit up and kpo around and if I try to let him lie on his back, he flips over immediately! Tired die meeeee. I have to constantly keep my eyes on him else he'll just try to pull a fast "turn" and Im just paranoid that he'll fall off the bed or something LOL. So yea thats the story of my life now la. (besides following #GE2015 hahaha)
Faux Fayc Cosmetics Review + GIVEAWAY
Oooooo yesss this is waaay overdue but there's a mini giveaway at the end of this post! I love doing giveaways if time permits especially if Im excited about the product! Special thanks to Faux Fayc (pronounced : Foʊ - face ) for making this happen, yo!
A Singapore-based company, (way to go local businesses!) Faux Fayc Cosmetics has a handful of makeup items but trust me,, they are all pretty fabulous. Here's what they sent me : Fauxless Mattifying Mousse Foundation, Fauxlash Mascara Duo and Fauxstix Matte Liquid
Your face is an empty canvas. Faux Fayc aims to enlighten women of all ages with products that can dramatically enhance your features in seconds! Faux Fayc does not see themselves as selling products. Instead, they are providing you with a completely new ‘FAUX FAYC’, personality and character, specially designed for your alter ego.

Fauxlash Mascara Duo
The new smudge-proof Fauxlash Mascara Duo Set provides a drama-like effect with a 300% increase in length and thickness while keeping your lashes looking real. Shockingly similar to falsies with a wide-eye effect, its lightweight formula will keep your lashes curled and clump-free all day. With the new Fauxlash Mascara Duo Set, say goodbye to your falsies! $38.
There are two products :
Transplanting Gel Tube – Contains collagen that protects and preps lashes
Natural Fibres Tube – Made of dried green tea extracts
Directions to use : (very important!)
1) Apply your own regular mascara and let it dry (optional, recommended for more volume).
2) Apply the transplanting gel generously onto the tips of lashes
3) While it is still wet, apply the fibres onto the tips of lashes.
4) Apply the transplanting gel again to secure the fibres in place.
5) Repeat steps 2-4 until the desired length is achieved.
*Tip : The Fauxlash Mascara washes off easily with lukewarm water or makeup remover!
Initial Impressions : My absolute favorite item! I've always loved my eyelash extensions but with baby now, I dun have the time to maintain my usual extensions. With the Fauxlash Mascara Duo, I no longer look sleepy (ok, maybe I still do due to the lack of sleep zzz) but hey, it worked so well, my friend thought I still had my extensions ON. Wow. So yes there's more steps now (but still easier than to apply fake eyelashes) as I use my regular mascara, followed by Fauxlash Mascara Duo but they really add immerse length to my barely-there lashes. Amazing. Note : Always use some powder after under eyes to brighten your peepers and get rid of any residue fiber that might have fell off before the transplanting gel dried :)
Before & after
Fauxstix Matte Liquid - in BARE
An intense velvety matte, full coverage long wear liquid lipstick that has a high impact color in a nude light beige shade, BARE. Fauxstix comes in a fool-proof brush tip applicator for a precise and immaculate finish.$35.
High Impact Matte Finish
A Full Coverage Longwear Liquid Lipstick
Lightweight Texture
Will not Feather
Easy to Use Brush Tip Click Pen Applicator
Initial Impressions : A small handy liquid lipstick which goes on smooth but is velvety matte, the Fauxstix Matte Liquid comes in several high impact colors like Wolf and Vice (red tones) but true to my character, I always tend to pick the neutral easy-to-wear tones. I can just pop this in my makeup pouch for a quick touch-up and I love how it did not feather.
Fauxless Mattifying Mousse Foundation
The Fauxless Mattifying Mousse Foundation (30ml) provides light to medium coverage for a natural look and features a creamy velvety formula with a soft, silky smooth and matte powdery finish. Feel good, look glamorously flawless and say goodbye to oily looking skin. $52.
Initial Impressions : I never use foundation, Im just not a foundation and concealer kinda girl but the Fauxless Mattifying Mousse Foundation felt super lightweight and dreamy, I almost forgot that its foundation! It went on smoothly and dried quickly and although the name suggests that its mousse, -the texture is very much liquid although it did feel light and airy upon application. It wasnt cakey but you have to have fast fingers as this goes on matte, like powder. Great for combi, oily skin and you can even skip powder after.
Thanks for the products, Faux Fayc! And now... how about the GIVEAWAY!
