You know they say people come and go in your life but the right ones will always stay. Its amazing how I didnt even go the same school but got to know one another through mutual friends and ever since then, we just 'stuck' together. Yes clearly sometimes we don't see eye to eye but what matters is that we learn to respect and live with each other. Ups and downs, happiness and sadness, marriages and babies - 22 years of friendship, we've been through it all.

Secret Surprise Birthday Brunch for my BFF

Despite our busy schedules with kids, work and dating (not me), we try to meet up as often as we can, even though its for a short brunch on weekends.

So we got unicorn balloons, a cake and I got them to wear the same outfit in different colors! 😂

It was hilarious when the cake-getter was late (💢) so the birthday girl came in to see balloons first 😒. Luckily the cake turned up .. after we had our meal. 💣 Oh well.. better late than never 😅

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BFF WEN!

Hope you like your presents!

I know you love me...💋

Throwback Pics! 💪

Looking through the pictures .. its amazing how far along we came.

We were so skinny then 😆 Ok ok.. me... I was so skinny then.😁

Knowing you girls was the best thing that ever happened to me. 💗

"They say nothing lasts forever ... dreams change, trends come and go, but friendships never go out of style." - Carrie, Sex and The City

May all your dreams come true, BFF. That's all I wish for you.

I guess I really need to have a proper #ThrowbackPost tag in this blog coz I have soooo many older posts to blog! 😛 I realize the current social media has evolved... coz truthfully who reads blogs now?Actually I still do coz I like to stay updated with my fellow social media friends. Although Instagram is a great tool to reach out to people (so is Facebook) but blogs seem.. more personal? I love reading about thoughts and referring back to older posts or even looking at the many pictures especially on holidays coz time flies and before you know it the babies have grown up and we are getting old(er) liao.

My Second Mother's Day Celebration

Its my 2nd time celebrating as a mother to my 2yo and his school had a mini celebration brunch where all mummies (ok and Daddies 😁) were invited to mingle and have some food after dropping the kiddos off school.

Obviously my toddler looked at the makan and didnt want to eat his regular breakfast liao 😅

There was another table filled with little art pieces and trinkets done by the kids themselves in preparation for Mothers Day! SO CUTEEEE 💓

These Cinnamon stick flowers were done by the son's class! *Proud mama moment*

Elroy grabbed one flower and told me proudly "Mama! I do it!" Dunno real anot la, he anyhow pluck one out and give me I think.

Ok ok u very guai give me flower, now you can have some muffin

Fellow mummies from different classes

With my forever-no-expression son!

After school! He told me he wanted to sit there at the deco wall... and then he suddenly pose liddat ask me take pic. 😕

Mothers Day Weekend

Had brunch with his Godmothers! Besties since we were what.. 14? 15? I think we just had an understanding that we will be each other's kids de Godmothers! 💋

At my parent's place cutting cake with my Mum! 💗 I wish for nothing except for health and happiness to everyone. Family is EVERYTHING. Have you hugged your loved one today?

Love you Mummy xx

This is a #Throwback post whereby I will start (slowly lol) posting older pictures else they will be stuck in my laptop for all of eternity. 😝 So dont be confused if you see me in my longer hairstyle while some posts in the blog will be in my current hairstyle! The event took place in Elroy's current school, we ended Julia Gabriel when he turned 2 because I wanted him to have a slightly more structured curriculum and proper routine everyday. Although he goes to a half-day program at the moment, I find that it has helped him tremendously in terms of socializing, spoken Chinese language and sentence structuring to name a few. And as much as I wish to keep him at home for as long as I can, I know that the day will come when he needs to start school proper and we agreed that starting him at 2 years old will be the best for him and for me. (Mummy gets the morning off, woo hooooo!)

Little Chef Day

Little Chef Day is the school's initiative to introduce the concept of buying and selling food, from  choosing the menu and items to sell, to the preparation of snacks and manning the 'cashier' - it will all be done by the kids themselves!

So adorable!

The Tutti Frutti Drink stall stand, for Elroy's Toddler class!

Little chefs at work

Bringing Elroy to 'buy' food

He's very serious about picking what to eat LOL

He even gave 'instructions' like "NO THIS!" pointing to (I also dunno what he didn't want), bacon bits I think. To "MORE THIS!!" referring to his favorite corn.

Very serious business ok dont play play!

After 'buying' all the food, we headed to the canteen to EAT!

His face is #forever "Mummy dont disturb me can anot" 😪

And now its time for the roles to be reversed! The son collecting 'money' from a fellow schoolmate.. so cute so cute all these children!!! *heart melts*

To learning to make the drink ...

Elroy's turn to 'serve' his customers! 😋

It was really a fun event for the son and he enjoyed choosing the different food he wanted! We taught him the concept of 'paying' and if we didnt have enough 'cash vouchers', we told him to choose something else instead etc. He also loved scooping out the fruits for the Todds drink stall, and was ecstatic to help out coz he kept repeating the scooping action for days after ...........😆

What a fun and memorable for our family!
