Tian Wei Signature Confinement Food Review

I wished I had Tian Wei Signature confinement food when I had my older son. When my confinement nanny left, I wanted to continue having delicious confinement food at the comfort at my own home because as a new mummy I was very overwhelmed with mummy duties and looking after the newborn I couldn't really find the time to sleep, let alone cook. Although I stay with my inlaws, nobody really knew how to cook nutritious confinement meals to boost my milk supply and nourish my body after childbirth, so I ordered confinement meals from another company (you can message me if you would like to know which company was that) but the food was so awful and unappetizing, it came cold and late every other day - I gave up after a week! Luckily I ordered the trial so I cut my losses in time. #Truestory This time round, Im so thankful I had Tian Wei Signature so I really have to share this with everyone!

To highlight some of my favorites from the menu, the Fortune herbal chicken consist of one big juicy chicken thigh and it was really delicious! The aroma of the herbal penetrated the meat succulently without leaving any bitter aftertaste.

In addition, the Green papaya fish soup is my ABSOLUTE favorite soup la! When I saw it I actually squealed in delight. Because I dun drink it all the time, so I relish every single drop ~ do you know that is a great milk booster too? Lastly my meal ended on the great note with their Sweet potato longan ginger soup which is comforting and not overly sweet. I like!

I really looked forward to my meals everyday :)

I was quite impressed with their fusion food too! After having Chinese food for so long, this spaghetti was a warm welcome during my extended confinement!

I’m very particular about my soups and Tian Wei Signature never disappoints! If you look at the ingredients after I finished my soup, you can see how generous they are with the food portions!

I love how soft and stretchy these pants are! Baby Elric is a little on the erm center-heavy side so the elastic waistband is comfortable and practical 😇 The super absorbency gel in the diaper also made sure that its not wet thus providing more comfort for baby. There is a convenient handy tape at the back so you can easily roll it up and tape it before disposing. It also 'held up' well when Didi did a number 2 and it didn't leak or made him feel uncomfortable at all. So thumbs up!

My Favorite Postpartum Nursing Wear + Hello 2018!

One week into 2018 already?? My resolution is to post more pictures here in the blog ... lol. Time is flying by at an extremely alarming rate I must say. Turning 35 last year was a pivotal point in my life. No longer will I deal with stupid or shitty people because, aint no time for regrets. Just wanna spend my life as meaningfully with the people who really cares. Unfortunately as much as I hate to admit it - I think I have been a really bad friend to say the least. I no longer go out on a whim, I turn down dinner dates and I cant head to high tea as often as I did before. With a toddler and a 3 month old baby - my priorities shifted so much that I think even my family are amazed with how homely I've become. To imagine that I used to live out of a suitcase and head to places like New York every month in the past. Now I think I dun even go to Orchard anymore ... Thats my life as a SAHM I guess. People make choices. They choose what to eat, what to say and what to do. I chose to put my family and kids first. Im sorry to my friends but I really hope that they will wait for me. It might be selfish to hope so.. but I'll carry on hoping.

My Favorite Postpartum Nursing Wear

I nursed the older toddler til he self-weaned at 27 months, presumably due to the fact that I was pregnant then and perhaps it was the hormones or maybe he just got sick of me lol. But with the breastfeeding still going gamestrong for baby #2, I take in comfort that I can shop for even more nursing clothes with my favorite maternity retailer - JumpEatCry

If you intend to nurse your baby, such dresses are a God-sent I tell you. I no longer need to look for places for me to feed my baby and I often babywear and breastfeed at the same time. Its super discreet and nobody even knows that baby is drinking milk! Crazy convenient really.

This Blue Nelya Ribbed Knit Nursing Dress (Quote SUGAR73 for 10% off) is one of my most preferred styles as its super thin and stretchy which works perfect for pregnant bumps to postpartum nursing mummies like me.
