Mine was really fun with a trip to the library then durians for supper. Heehee.
I wish it was Sunday everyday!
Anyways, I thought I should start slowly with pictures from recent travels.
Esp the cities I really heart.

Erm, the roads.
They confuse me badly, and I guess I ought to stop complaining about road signs in Singapore.
Oh well, at least their shopping centres look great.
Piazza del Duomo, Milan
"Milan is renowned as one of the world capitals of design and fashion. The English word milliner is derived from the name of the city. The Lombard metropolis is famous for its fashion houses and shops (such as along via Montenapoleone) and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in the Piazza Duomo (reputed to be the world's oldest shopping mall)."
The shops scream luxury and the sales personnel are a snootish sort.
I love the historical building on the outside, as well as the inside which has a timeless elegance that will never age.

Like many famous places in Italy, the square outside the Galleria has dozens of pigeons which made it undoubtedly romantic.
What I would do to take my wedding pictures there!

Today in church, we were told to give thanks to something simple.
I gave thanks just for being able to wake up in the morning. :)
In this hurried, unforgiving world ridden with malice, debt, spite and wrath, - we tend to forget about the simple things.
Nitpicking is just easier and we complain about the unlucky things that happen to us.
How about our family who loves us?
How about the friends who care about us?
We forget.
So would u give thanks to something simple today too?

I cant tell u how blessed n much loved I feel after reading ur encouraging emails and sweet, sweet tags.
I landed from New York today barely before the sun rose, and being a Saturday I did what I did love most, - nua-ing in bed.
At 3pm.
Hee.
Jungle Boy the growing boy nagging at my complacency to actually stay rooted as opposed to eating (in which I usually love to do) but hey! Im on New York time u'noe.
Just kidding.
Im missing everything local, Char kway teow, Hokkien mee, Chicken rice n more!
Gonna get my big butt off n go grab a bite.
Jungle Boy n food.. hmmmm weekends dun get better than this.

Russians are a rude lot, but after awhile u kinda get used to it.

Between Kremlin n Red Square
Red in Russian is beautiful, so therefore the Red Square was named not becos it was red, but becos it was beautiful.
Indeed it was.
Lenin's body is embalmed in the middle of Red Square, n everyday people queue up for at least half an hour or more to look at the former communist leader for a grand total of 5 mins.
Anyways, off to dinner soon!
