Of Collars & Pearls

Sunday, May 06, 2012

Last week before church, we kept to our routine of an early dinner in this gem of a place at Katong.
Wahiro is the kinda place you go for fast, quality-assured food that is fresh and feels home-made but is yet easy on the pocket. You can sit on the tatami mats with your family, or sit by the bar counter and have a chat with the chef while you tuck in to your food.
You could even enjoy a glass of sake or two at the same time.

Ended the night with a nightcap at Brussel Sprouts Big Splash with some friends.
Totally dig the chilled-out ambiance there, - with their array of beer on tap and vast cocktail menu.
A glass (and more!) of bubbly never hurts anyone!
I found the old bottle caps an extremely interesting display item!
I had a great weekend and hope you enjoyed yours too.
And hey...... before you know it the weekend will be here again.
Stay calm and carry on.
Back with more soon!

Have a blast, everyone.
God bless.
