1.    How do you feel about being one of finalists in Singapore Blog Awards 2012?

In the beginning, I was so excited & elated when I found out that I was nominated by friends & fellow bloggers for the award becoz this is my first time and I have absolutely no idea what to expect! 

The Panasonic Eco Best Lifestyle Award has so many outstanding fellow nominees so I was extremely grateful and humbled when I found out that I was actually in the finals.

2.    When did you start blogging and what drew you to it? Where do you get inspiration for your blog content?

I started blogging back in 2003 with some of my forum friends as an online diary and to be updated on each other lives with a social medium becoz that was an era before Facebook came along! It was entertaining looking at pictures of what we ate, where we shopped & what we bought! I also like to introduce good food, cheap buys to my readers and also pictures of family & friends to remind myself of the wonderful times we shared.

3.    How do you feel about the other Finalists in your category this year? How do you think you will fare compared to them?

They are all so GOOD! 

I have a couple of blogger friends in various categories too (Check them out!) so its gonna be a huge party regardless of who's gonna win!

4.    Give a reason why readers should visit your blog and vote for you?

The wonderful wonderful readers have and always will be a part of my blog. I love interacting with them, answering the questions that they have, going to places they recommend and ultimately making so many new friends online. This blog have given me many, many amazing opportunities so I would love to invite new readers to join me on this wonderful magic carpet ride!

Winning the award will be an absolute encouragement but as how Emily Dickinson puts it, -"That it will never come again is what makes life so sweet." 

I might never be nominated or be in the finals to have the chance to win again, but to me, living for now is what it all matters.
