We had a rather impromptu trip to Chiangmai during my leave last week!
Though it a hastily-made decision, it was absolutely fun!
I had the time of my life - doing nothing.

In BKK airport waiting to boarding our domestic flight to Chiangmai!
Reception.
We took a buggy to our room, but we spent most of the time walking coz everything was within walking distance.
It was perfect for lazing around.
Not for the shy bathroom - with open concepts and glass windows all round.
Checking out wireless! Gosh, Im such a city gal!
I totally dig neutral earthy tones - it just makes a person feel homely and comfortable.

I could sit out here all day.
Table ornament.
Then we felt peckish.
Thai springrolls!
Getting comfy in bed!
With his laptop.
I miss it all over again, with the scorching sun in the afternoon and windy cool breeze in the evenings.
But most importantly - I miss the times with Jungle Boy under the stars.
Now its work work work for him and me, sometimes we get so exhausted by the end of the day its hard getting a conversation going before someone falls asleep!
Sigh ~ the life of a city dweller.
Sometimes its such an amazing feeling, staying in the countryside : just doing nothing at all.

Im back from my holiday and suddenly - I had the weirdest urge to change my blogskin.
What started as a post turned into the never-turning-back change of the whole outlook.
One tweak, a subtle adjustment, an addition here, and then proof! .. I dun even recognise my own blog.
But I do hope very much that you like it.
Coz I do.

Earlier this month..
We went to one of our regular restaurants.
Im forever wassap-ing crazy people.
(read: friends.)
3 kinds.
Two peas in a pod.
Eat drink Man woman.
Im actually trying to show off my japanese sweet coz its pink and yellow!
So cuteeeee max.
and then the week after, I confirmed my gown designer.
It was a rather daunting affair, to say the least.
Everyone had good intentions adding their two cents in, Jungle Boy including - but I stood by my decision : nice and firm, thankyouverymuch.
I guess I cant make everyone happy, so why not just go with my heart?
Gorgeous.. I still think it is.
Thank you my dear friends and family- I appreciate everything but its my party and I'll cry if I want to.
:D
But still.. keeping my fingers crossed!

Going off for a short holiday!
I apologise for the lack of updates, just got back from Japan (yes... Japan) and then I fell really quite ill.
Still on flu medication but its not really a bad thing!
Drowsy like hell but happy like bird.
No wonder the world has so many Lindsay Lohans.

Hello everyone!
I hope everyone is well and enjoying the week so far!
Last week I had a date.
:)
Jungle Boy had very kindly bought tickets to Emily of Emerald Hill because I am intrigued by the nature of the story, a matriarch of a Peranankan family set in the 1930s-1950s.
The story spins around an orphaned girl called Emily - powerfully played by cross-dressing actor Ivan Heng.
Emily rises above her painful childhood to become head of a rich Straits Chinese family that she was married into at the age of 14.
As much as the storyline was interesting, I really wanted to watch the show becoz I loved all the costumes worn by Emily.
Pink, blue, green were staple kebaya pieces, while glittering brooches shone even from afar, seen amazingly clear from my circle seats.
There is nothing more I love than a diva in pink.
