The Days of Doing Nothing.
Monday, March 28, 2011We had a rather impromptu trip to Chiangmai during my leave last week!
Though it a hastily-made decision, it was absolutely fun!
I had the time of my life - doing nothing.
:)
In BKK airport waiting to boarding our domestic flight to Chiangmai!
Reception.
We took a buggy to our room, but we spent most of the time walking coz everything was within walking distance.
It was perfect for lazing around.
Not for the shy bathroom - with open concepts and glass windows all round.
Checking out wireless! Gosh, Im such a city gal!
I totally dig neutral earthy tones - it just makes a person feel homely and comfortable.
Checking out the plunge pool.
Private corner.
I could sit out here all day.
Table ornament.
Then we felt peckish.
Thai springrolls!
Getting comfy in bed!
With his laptop.
I miss it all over again, with the scorching sun in the afternoon and windy cool breeze in the evenings.
But most importantly - I miss the times with Jungle Boy under the stars.
Now its work work work for him and me, sometimes we get so exhausted by the end of the day its hard getting a conversation going before someone falls asleep!
Sigh ~ the life of a city dweller.
Sometimes its such an amazing feeling, staying in the countryside : just doing nothing at all.
Take care all.
Have a great week ahead, sweets.
Im off to bed!
xoxo

ReplyDeleteHi dear its veranda chiangmai- n there r a couple of things to explore eg elephant rides, tribal visits (to those 'long neck' women) night safari, night market etc. But all we did is to go to the night market (part II of entry) coz we have done the rest of the tours in our previous trips to thailand. :)
ReplyDeleteThis place simply looks great!
