Wow 2 more sleeps til Christmas! Sorry for the flurry of Christmas party posts but that was what truly happened the whole of December for me I guess! 👯 Fabulous food, good friends and a lot of laughter to go around ~ 💗

And cake ... cupcakes to be exact!

It was our highly anticipated Christmas party with my Tula mummies because for the first time since we got to know each other... Three mummies in the group (out of six) are on Maternity Leave! AHAHAH this is the *P1P2P3* (Preggy 1 Preggy 2 Preggy 3) group as we call it.. coz slowly but surely we have not one, but 3 additions to the baby count! Amazing ahaha! So yea abit of background info lol.

Back to the party! Oh look! All the presents and small "door" gifts and goody bags that we just prepared so that the kids could have something small and enjoy the Christmas spirit by opening presents or just for them to bring home some tidbits to eat!

But some of the presents are more for mummies I guess LOLOLOL

The food!

Thats how we take pictures with a handful of toddlers ..........

And lastly .. My present! Which is PERFECTION coz my old Clarisonic broke down since forever! Love it so much! Cant wait to charge and use it :)

With my plus 1 .. the cheeky one.

Looking forward to the weekend where there will be more parties and catch up with family and favorite people. I just want to say how blessed I feel, getting to know so many Mummy friends and sharing the good and bad, be it baby woes or happy milestones. A support group is so, so important - I cant explain how many times they offer such good advice and have no judgement to different parenting styles. And that should be the way friendships should be. No judgement. :) Just laughter, parenthood is tough enough so good vibes only please. 🙆

Have a marvelous long weekend and Merry Christmas to all!

*Pictures credit to L coz my camera battery dieddddd

I have to be honest, the only bags I like are those that I can carry on my arm, or those with tea in it. Im not sure how or when .. but maybe parenthood (and late night drama shows) is taking a toil on my looks! And suddenly, I peer into the mirror and realize the woe every mother will tell you they go through ... eye bags and dark circles. 😱

Remescar Eye Bags & Dark Circles Review

When the good people of Remescar Medmetics wanted to send their Remescar Eye Bags & Dark Circles cream for a review, I thought why not! Lets see if it works. (Comparison pics below)

"Remescar Eye Bags & Dark Circles is an instant and effective cream which helps to diminish eye bags and the appearance of dark circles with just one single application per day. Its revolutionary technology EYESYL immediately targets eye bags & dark circles, by using a unique combination of clay minerals and a bi-peptide complex which will lead to strong skin tightening, a decrease of fluid accumulation under the eyes and a micromuscular pause. These actions will help to reduce the puffiness of the eyes and eliminate the appearance of dark circles."

So basically this cream works slightly differently from the other eye creams that I have tried before. A combination of clay minerals and bi-peptide complex helps with the following:

- Skin tightening: As the serum is absorbed into the skin, clay minerals attach themselves directly to skin cells to help form a strong network, giving a visible skin-tightening effect

- A decrease in water accumulation: A specialised tetrapeptide has an effect on the permeability of blood vessels around the eyes, preventing an accumulation of fluid.

- Microvascular-pause: Fine lines are a result of an overstimulation of facial muscles under the eyes. The product has a specific multi-peptide that blocks muscular triggers, decreasing muscular contractions for a Botox-like effect.

Instruction-wise, its also very specific and is best advised to do as recommended. The Remescar Eye Bags & Dark Circles cream is to be used after your usual skincare regime and before makeup. A single application a day is enough for the product to work. Apply a small amount of the cream (the size of a grain of rice). Use a gentle tapping motion to apply the product, and wait for two minutes for the product to be absorbed. A key point to take note is that Remescar recommends the user to "remain expressionless for 2-3 minutes while the product dries to achieve dramatic results."

A small and nifty sized tube which I personally prefer over jars of eye cream. I don't like dipping fingers into skincare so this works best for me. Simply squeeze gently to desired amount and apply.

As you can see, I washed my face, applied my normal skincare (toner + moisturizer) and then used a small amount of Remescar Eye Bags & Dark Circles cream under my eye area where it is needed the most. I tried to remain as expressionless (LOL) as possible, so I looked at my handphone for a little while after application. I noted that I could actually feel the skin around my eyes tighten ever so slightly as the cream dried and after a couple of minutes I did look more awake and less tired. I can still see slight dark circles, but the puffiness was reduced significantly in my opinion.

Remescar Eye Bags & Dark Circles is priced at $52 and is available at all Sa Sa stores, www.myhealthscoop.com, Redmart and beautiful.me.

Hope you enjoyed the review!
