Bio-Essence Hydra Tri-Action Review

Saturday, October 26, 2013

[Advertorial Review] Hello everyone! Recently when Bio-Essence launched their latest Hydra Tri-Action Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask (wow, what a mouthful!) - I was INTRIGUED! What in the world is an "Aqua Droplet" mask? If you are as curious as I was ... read on!
The Bio-essence Hydra Tri-Action Skincare Range
The Tri-Action range performs 3 ultimate functions for supple radiant skin.
3x Hydration Power :
- Power Nano Hyluronic Acid to Hydrate
- Cranberry extract and Olive Oil to Nourish
- Cranberry extract is rich in anti-oxidants to Protect
The face of Bio-Essence is the ever princess-y Hongkong TVB star Linda Chung as seen here. You might find her familiar and she's really pretty!
In addition to the Aqua Droplet Beauty Mask, I will be reviewing all the products in the range.
This includes the Aqua Foamy Cleanser and Aqua Refreshing Toner
Not forgetting the Aqua Moisturizing Gel
And lastly, the star product - the Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask.
Show of dewy, healthy, hydrated skin with these steps!
The Bio-Essence Hydra Tri-Action Aqua Foamy Cleanser
First Impressions : The cleanser comes in a convenient tube and easy to use nozzle which dispenses a good size of product with a slight squeeze. There is a light refreshing scent when used and did not leave my skin feeling dry or taunt after washing.
Creamy cleanser
The Bio-Essence Hydra Tri-Action Aqua Refreshing Toner
First Impressions : This 100ml glass bottle is heavy! It is priced reasonably at $12.90 and its such a steal! I caught a whiff of the cranberry fruit extract once I opened the cap too. The toner smelt delicious and was refreshingly light on my skin and it was not sticky after use.
Personally I would prefer to use a cotton pad for toners but here I tried to pat it direct on my face to have a feel of the toner. (It had a watery and light texture that was quickly absorbed)
The Bio-Essence Hydra Tri-Action Aqua Moisturizing Gel
First Impressions : This product has an aqua blue light refreshing gel texture which is suitable for our humid weather and was instantly absorbed into my skin upon application. Similarly (as with the other products shown here), the moisturizing gel has a light fruity scent that was borderline minty to reflect the refreshing theme of this range. It also left a smooth, hydrated feel to my skin almost instantaneously.
Smooth adequate amount over skin
Gently massage in circular motions until fully absorbed.

Wake Up To Supple & Firm Skin
This unique formulation is enriched with 2 types of Hyaluronic acid (Power Nano Hyaluronic Acid & Hyaluronic Acid), Cranberry Extract & Bio Energy Fluid, which not only provides long lasting hydration but also protects skin from environmental factors. Bio-essence Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask replenishes moisture, nourishes and repairs your skin non-stop while you sleep.
Upon application, hydrating ingredients magically transform into big aqua droplets which are rapidly absorbed to constantly replenish and lock in moisture. This lightweight formula wraps the skin with a comfortable hydrating protective layer without any greasy and sticky feel. Say goodbye to dull, tired skin for a smooth, radiant and supple skin the next morning.
First Impressions : The star product of the Hydra Tri-Action range, this Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask is similarly packaged as the Moisturizing Gel, except that its a tad bigger (50ml Moisturizer vs 80ml Mask) But thats where the similarities ended, the Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask is white in color and has a thicker gel-cream like texture which actually produces DROPLETS as you lightly massage it into your skin! Yes.. DROPLETS!
Take a small amount of Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask
Lightly massage into skin
Gently pat until droplets are fully absorbed
Skin feels plump and hydrated
Combat 4 common skin problems
- Brightens Dull & Tired Skin
- Regulates Oil & Moisture Level
- Moisturizes Dry & Rough Skin
- Refines Enlarged Pores
Testing the The Bio-Essence Hydra Tri-Action Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask
I've taken a generous amount of the The Bio-Essence Hydra Tri-Action Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask and applied it on my cheek
As I gently massage the cream into my skin, I could feel extremely fine water droplets on the surface of my skin.
Take a closer look
I continued to pat my skin until all product has been absorbed.
Overall Review : As I have combination (Oily T-zone)-dehydrated skin, my top observation from the Bio-Essence Hydra Tri-Action range is how hydrated my skin felt after. The Hyaluronic Acid (Power Nano Hyaluronic Acid & Hyaluronic Acid) did effectively lock in moisture and create a smooth skin plumping effect after. The texture of all the products are also refreshingly light for our humid weather and the price range ($10.90-$33.90) is surprisingly affordable too!
