Unfortunately I was away during the launch of "Sweet as Chocolate" - the Fall Trend of 2013 as it takes a peek into the world of brown eyeliners to delve into the wonders of the multitude looks if can create. While its not as intense and striking as its black counterpart, brown as the magical ability to attract looks like no other. And Im loving the brown and pink look!

As K-Palette had kindly sent me several items for a review, I do like the product range so much that I'll be doing a quick introduction on each item before showing you my favorite from this collection.

24 Hour Real Lasting 2-Way Eyeliner Liner

This waterproof eyebrow liner is made of just the right amount of translucence such that the colour is deep enough to conceal the sparse areas of your eyebrows but not too dark that it gives a severe and unforgiving tone. If you require a darker tone, just go over the same area twice or more. 

First Impressions : I was apprehensive to use liquid on my eyebrows as Im rather clumsy and have always been using eyebrow pencils my whole makeup life! However, I found it to be very fine and as it was in a shade of brown, the lines that was created is not harsh but rather 'soft'. I like the powder part too as its blends into my sparse areas with ease.

Best suited to conceal dark eye circles

First Impressions : I love the cute Kuma bear on the packaging so much, I was reluctant to cut the packaging coz I wanted to just admire it non-stop lololol. It comes in a convenient tube and the liquid is thick, yet spreads easily on skin, A little goes a long way so do not use too much but try to build up coverage as you go along.

1-Day lash Perm Mascara

Introduction of the acrylates polymer, a curl keep polymer that enables eyelashes to curl instantly, with a single stroke. The polymer also reinforces the durability of the curl, keeping the curl effect long lasting throughout the day.

Another key ingredient found in the 1DAY LASH PERM is pullulan, which coats each and every lash. The addition of this ingredient defines the lashes by making them thick and volumised, creating the gorgeous eyes every woman desires.

I've reviewed this Here and Here and it has consistently been one of my top used mascaras for its easy to remove with water formula. 

First Impressions : The Japanese makes no excuses for their lovely packaging and their comprehensive instructions and ingredient list. The brush is thick and fat which means one thing - VOLUME, VOLUME, and more VOLUME! The mascara wand feels comfortable even when Im trying to coat my lower lashes. 

K-Palette Real Lasting Pencil Eyeliner 24h

First Impressions : The twist and go feature is great as I can skip using a sharpener (not one of my favorite things to do) The color is intense although its not Black and it was smudge-proof!

First Impressions : This liquid liner is extremely fine and soft and if you want a very natural brown liner, this is definitely it. Once again its smudge-proof and it produces a realistic soft look that is both alluring and natural.

My Favorite Product + Short Tutorial

Overall Review : Although I love most of the items in this collection, I really grown to LOVE my new K-Palette Lasting 2-Way Eyebrow pen! Its so easy to draw it on my eyebrows and I have gotten compliments on how it looks like it's embroidered on! The color is also suitable for my brown hair, as it is not as harsh as black eyebrow pencils. 

I have rather thin eyebrows (Which I abhor!) and I like to have them threaded monthly for easy maintenance. I have some sparse areas so I like how this eyebrow pen gives definition, yet maintaining a soft feel. 

I would normally use the Liquid pen side to draw and outline my brows, following the Powder side to fill in the front and then blend it with a small eyebrow brush for a even softer look.
