The Test
What's a review without trying the Crème Simon Brightening Detox Micellar Water Makeup Remover with my trusty waterproof creamy eyeliner!
I use this eyeliner alot and its waterproof so some micellar makeup removers dun actually work well with waterproof makeup. So yes, this is kinda like a good benchmark for me.
Initial Impressions : While Im actually already impressed with the natural ingredients (one of its primary ingredient is Propanediol, which is a natural, skin-friendly preservative-boosting humectan - known for its high purity, lack of skin irritation or sensitization properties.) The Crème Simon Brightening Detox Micellar Water Makeup Remover works quickly in dissolving waterproof makeup without the need for rubbing, which is especially helpful when using it around delicate areas like eyes and lips. It has a very light floral fragrance that is from its natural ingredients such as Jasmine and Rosa Damascena Leaf Cell Extract, and it smells lovely! I also have sensitive skin, so any skincare product that is Paraben-free (a preservative) gets an additional vote for me. The only thing to take note is that Brightening Detox Micellar Water Makeup Remover has a shelf-life of around 9 months as recommended so its best to finish it once opened. But it is only 150 ml, so I reckon that's not such a difficult thing to do, too! The Brightening Detox Micellar Water Makeup Remover retails at $55 (150ml)
Thanks Crème Simon for the sweet surprise on Valentine's Day and I hope everyone is having a great weeekend, too! Next week is CNY ~ yeah!!! Loooong weekend coming for everyone! xx
