[Review + Event] Hello everyone! What a lazy Saturday it is! Actually I have been up early this morning and now feeling slightly sleep deprived as I get woken up really easily these days! I hope I can take a short nap before dinner later! Woes of a preggy woman ............
Yesterday was FUN! I attended the EHA Skincare launch at Shaw Center with some of my awesome friends! So fun to see everyone again and thank u all for your well-wishes! *awww*
EHA Skincare Launch
Fans of EHA Skincare will be happy to know that this cult skin care brand has finally opened its very own stand alone store at Shaw Centre in Orchard. With a range of skin care products from Japan, US and France, this comprehensive range of skin care is specially formulated for the humidity of Asia and sensitive Asian skin.
I had a great time chatting to my girlfriends and checking out the EHA Skincare range available at the store! It was my first time trying products from EHA Skincare so I was quite enthusiastic! Skincare and makeup are one of my most favorite things and its interesting to know what's new and available currently! With all my pretty girls! xo

The store is neatly stocked with EHA Skincare's best-sellers and also popular brands like Bioderma.

IGrow, which is an effective low-level light therapy (LLLT) for combating hair loss.

EHA Gentle Exfoliating Gel and EHA Restore Gel Review
Looking at the array of skincare items from EHA Skincare, I was most interested in the EHA Restore Gel - A light textured gel-cream with anti-aging, antioxidant and whitening properties. This Japan-made night gel-cream is perfectly suited for Asian skin. Its light water-like texture melts upon application and is perfect for those who don’t like the heavy feeling of conventional night creams.
I like the push pump function .. no dirty fingers dipping into a tub of cream!
The texture is a combination of water-gel and the consistency is light.
Initial Impressions : This EHA Restore Gel appealed more to me (as compared to their Moisturizing Gel) because I am looking for a good moisture-rich night cream currently. My skin is sensitive and dehydrated especially because I sleep in air-con nightly so I really need something that is hydrating enough - yet is not so rich in case I break out from it. The EHA Restore Gel has a lightweight feel to it and although it feels slightly sticky upon application, it dries to a smooth finish soon after. I woke up with soft skin and my face and neck felt suitably hydrated. I tried to use it under my makeup in the daytime but my T-zone felt oily after 2-3 hours. I would recommend using the EHA Restore Gel solely at night and it is best suited for drier or even mature skin types (like for an auntie like me??? LOL). The EHA Restore Gel is 50 ML and retails at $88.
EHA Gentle Exfoliating Gel
Gentle exfoliation and deep cleansing for all skin types, including sensitive and delicate skin. Reduce pigmentation and skin discoloration while maximizing your skinʼs ability to absorb the beneficial nutrients of your skin care and prepare skin for treatment by stripping away old keratin, gently and effectively.
I think this was one of the most tried-on product at the launch coz it was AMAZING seeing our dead skin cells removed so gently and quickly! With ingredients like Evening Primrose oil for its anti-oxidant and whitening properties, Algae extract for its moisturizing and whitening properties and Glycerin for its hydrating properties, skin looks brighter and cleaner without any greasy after-feel.
Initial Impressions : Oooooo I like this alot! Once again, with my sensitive skin I am very careful using exfoliates because some of it can be rather harsh on my skin. The  EHA Gentle Exfoliating Gel does not contain micro-beads of any sort, instead this gel removes dead skin cells upon gentle massage. Simply leave it on clean dry skin for around 10 seconds and rub in circular motions. You'll be surprised to see how much keratin (dead skin cells) that is on the surface of your skin even though it might not feel that way! Best to use 2-3x a time to complement your current skincare. I really think it attributed to how baby-soft my skin felt this morning! The EHA Gentle Exfoliating Gel is 50 ML and retails at $68.
Thanks everyone for dropping by and Im feeling peckish now so I think I'll go grab a quick bite! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend with loved ones and friends! xo
