Hello everyone!

How is ur Saturday coming along? I dun usually post on the weekends - but Christmas is coming and Im afraid that everyone (including me, hehe) will be busy shopping for presents or wrapping gifts!

I loveee the holidays! But what I dun love is the crazy christmas CROWD.

:(

Yesterday I met my lovely girls for a small Xmas Gift Exchange in town but what I didnt know was that it coincided with Isetan Private Sale at Shaw!

The carpark was massively jammed and the night before, I heard on the news that MRT was down.

So I know its a terrible feeling to be stuck and going no-where!

(Psst. How can MRT break down for so long, one??)

Okiesss... back to our happy gift exchange!

:D

We headed to Les Amis for set lunch.

I organised a small gathering becoz my friend Charmaine had given us Christmas presents (at my Kitty Bday party haha!) so we decided to buy each other gifts for Xmas anyways!

This is their Amuse Bouche - Smoked Salmon on Cracker.

It is a single, bite-sized hors d'ouvre that is usually complimentary.

It was delicious!

Happy Thursday everyone!

Im looking forward to the weekend and also tomorrow where Im planning a lunch date with my darling girls.

Am extremely into set lunches recently - they are really value-for-money meals in top notch restaurants!

You save easily 30-40% as compared to having dinner and we talk for hours there with my girlfriends! LOL.

Here's a small anywhere, anything post.

And my LEOPARD PREEN HELLO KITTY TOWEL PRESSIE!

Thks Yj and Joie ~ ahahhahaha!

On a serious note - as you all know my good friend Joie is an awesome makeup artist and we are talking about doing a collaboration very soon!

Joie have done so many weddings, countless fashion shoots and when I realised she also does personal coaching for makeup - I was so estastic! It has always been my dream to learn makeup professionally but it is an extremely committed and expensive course.

Now with Joie, we threw ideas in the air and came up with a great idea!

Here is a small portfolio on Joie.

- Personal coaching, tailor made makeup class for each individual.

Suitable for young working professionals, makeup enthusiasts & ladies looking to have a change of appearance to look their best.

- Group hands-on makeup classes.

- Corporate Makeup demos

- Makeup demo parties : Joie does makeup demos as part of the entertainment portion at clients' houses or party venues.

We intend to have a small & initimate 'MAKEUP DEMO by Joie for Elaine73' class whereby we could organise a small tea party at the same time with cupcakes, macaroons and alot of pink!

U can ask questions about makeup, know great insider professional tips and see how Joie does her makeup magic! Lets take alot of pictures and have a GREAT TIME!

Joie usually charges much more for a class like this, but she is doing me a hugeeee favor this time!
Thank you sooo much, Joie!

Each class will have about 6-8 girls and last around 2 hours, on a weekend afternoon in her studio.

You can learn how to get the 'Elaine Look' (I have no idea what it is hahahha but I want a very wearable, very easy day-to-day look that you girls can apply every day! And look like yourself - ONLY BETTER!)

We are very excited! We are planning door gifts, a tea party, makeup & pictures and even special promotions for Charm brushes!

Its going to be such a girly event!

(Coz I love makeup & I love tea parties!)

Edited to add:
LoveMi Shop will have an array of clothes specially picked out for the event!
We can mix & match outfits for different looks!
You can see the how by simply mixing and matching a different top or accessory - you get different looks!
Let's all get inspired!

We are looking at 11th Feb 2012 Saturday to hold this event so that it will be just in time for Valentine's Day! I want everyone to look their best - and even if u are single - here's a chance for you to learn makeup tips from an expert at a very affordable price and in addition, a fun environment along with me!

Im keeping my fingers crossed and wondering if any of u will be interested?

Back to Bali Day 2!

Woke up bright and early for a light breakfast before we head our for FISHING!

I loveeee yogurt.
I can eat it everyday although my favourite is the natural, unflavoured ones.
Add some fruit, some muesli and its a great snack that keeps u full throughout the day.

Special Thanks once again to The CherryTreeBirds for their Summer Tube Dress in Chirpy Yellow $30/-!
What best way to bring out the feel of a hot summer day in this lovely bright number?

We booked the fishing trip from the hotel - so the tour guide cum fisherman came to pick us up from the lobby and drove us to the beach.
It was soooo nice! The weather was great and the sea was rather calm.

I go out sea-fishing with the hubs pretty often coz he's such an avid fisherman.
I think all he wants to do is to retire early and fish all day long.
Seriously.

Our chartered fishing boat.

Okie... we are heading to the deep waters now!

Helping us with the rods.

He very happy to go fishing!

He caught a Mackerel within minutes!
Yay!

Im soooo tanned!
Omg.... ahahha just alittle while in the sun and I turn charcoal.

Then we saw DOLPHINS!!!!!!!

Many many of them!!!!

I love ribbons, rainbows and pixies...
And I also love dolphins and unicorns!!!
(Although I have never seen a unicorn in real life.. but I believe in them!!! Hahhaha!)

Without any worries and all having a ball of time!!!

Ok back to fishing.
(Look at my tortured face)

I caught one baby groupa okie!!!

Here's to a great fishing trip!
(More for him... ahhaha Im just along for the ride to see dolphins!)

 Bye bye beach!

Going back to Villa 56...

And the first thing we did was to jump into the pool!!!!
Hahhaha it was blazing hot the whole day and this is the fastest way to cool down!

We passed the fish to Room Service to BBQ!
Finally the food is here... YIPEE!
All so fresh and DIRECT OUT FROM THE SEA!!!!!!

I CAUGHT THIS!!!!!
ROFL.

Look at the spread!
We were starving ~!!!

Thank you everyone once again for dropping by!
Hope everyone enjoyed the pics :)

It was such a magical time in Bali for us.
Being away from the crowd and basically just spending some time talking rubbish and eating our catch from the sea. It was wonderful bonding time after all the huge, cosmopolitan cities that we have been going to recently.

Resorts are a great way to re-energize, re-new and go back to smelling fresh air and rolling in the sand.
Take care all!
Back soon.
