The Nozzle
First Impressions : The box came in bubble wrap from Wishtrend and I received it rather quickly after confirmation. There are good English instructions and ingredient list on the box and I liked how minimalist the packaging looked. The tube also has Klair's motto on it " You look so wonderful just the way you are. Be natural, Klairs." Its a little cliche I must admit .. but I smile every time I see it. Its a reminder to go easy on my makeup haha! The nozzle dispenses a good amount of BB cream and at 40ml its quite a generous amount of cream.
Overall Review :
It has a light scent when applied and I liked how it seem to brighten my skin. It feels slightly dewy and it kept my face from feeling dry. It also conceals light spots and I didn't use any concealer after. The color looked slightly fair on my tanned skin but on the hindsight, it did not oxidize after 6 hours of continuous wear. I only applied a light dusting of powder and and my skin had a slight glow .. like it was my bare skin, but better. The Spf 40++ is a bonus and q10 has a current promotion at S$19.99 (UP S$22/-) - It is a product worth buying. If you prefer to use a high Spf, whitening and well-rounded BB cream daily, this product is good for you. Generally more suited for people with drier skin types as it is rather moisturizing. My T-zone felt abit oily when it was humid, but it felt perfectly alright when I was in an air-conditioned area.
How to use :
Satin-Finish Skin Tutorial
With Klair's "You look so wonderful, just the way you are." slogan in mind - I wanted to re-create a simple, natural and breathable look that any girl could do under ten minutes.
What I used :
Starting with clean bare skin, I applied moisturizer and eye cream only.
I applied the Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream on the back of my hands generously.
Using a 'tapping' method - I pat my fingers on the cream lightly.
Gentle tapping motions with my fingers and my body heat will melt the bb cream and create a light finish.
As I am not using any concealer for this look, I concentrate under my eyes and at the sides of my nose or any red areas.
After application.
I am using the Laduree cream blusher instead of powder today.
Using the 'tapping' motion, I swipe the cream blusher on my cheeks and pat in the color to create a soft, satin smooth look.
After BB cream and blusher, I lightly dust some shimmer loose powder from Jill Stuart over my face to 'set' everything before I carry on the rest of my makeup.
For a gentle look, I am using the Dasoda Light Brown Liquid Eyeliner.
To accentuate my eyelashes, I coat on Kate's Curl & Long Mascara.
Followed by Heavy Rotation's Mega Volume Mascara for some volume.
Long, fluttery eyelashes are key here but do not overdo the lashes. Make sure there are no clumps by combing it with a small eye lash comb. I only coat my lower lashes once with mascara.
Fill your eyebrows in lightly.
In the meantime, your mascara would have dried so here I use the Panasonic Heated Eyelash Curler - (which is one of my favorite new gadgets recently!) to curl and open up my peepers.
The curl lasts ALL DAY!
Do head to http://www.panasonic.com.sg/ and https://www.facebook.com/sgpanasonic if you wish to know more.
Lastly .. use a light pink lip gloss for baby lips!
And we are done!
What do you think about this smooth, satin skin finish look that is suitable for all casual days using the Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream? It takes all but under 10 minutes, and its so easy and simple! Hope you like it! xx
Thanks for dropping by everyone!
love.
