Locycare Nail Gel Review

Monday, July 27, 2015

[Review] I confess. I was a Gelish nail addict. I never missed a nail session and if God forbid - a nail broke, you betcha I'll race down to the salon to get it fixed before I could go and face the world. (Some exaggeration here) But really, it all changed when I had baby. I didnt even have time to sleep, let alone spend a leisure 2 hours to get my nails done. So yes. for the first time in donkey years, I have naked nails now! And I have to cut and shape them myself. To risk sounding like a spoilt brat... I even had my first ingrown nail and I was at a loss on what to do til the husband just said, "Grab the nail clipper and snip it off, lah." He didnt even bat an eyelid. #firstworldproblems
Locycare Nail Gel Review
The good thing about stopping my highly addictive Gelish nail sessions is that for once in a long time, my nails finally have some time to "rest' and recover. However, all the years of 'abuse' has caused them to be slightly yellow and brittle when I first removed my Gelish. So when Locycare sent over their Locycare Nail Gel for a review, I took it out immediately to give it a try.
Clinically proven to recover healthy looking nails, Locycare is a new moisturizing nail gel that contains humectants and Artemisia leaf extract to hydrate and improve damaged and discoloured nails.
Locycare offers a quick and easy solution to recover healthy looking nails in just 2 weeks by restoring the natural water content of damaged nails. The nail gel is essentially a moisturizer for one's nails and effortlessly penetrates the nail with a slight massage.

Delivers visible improvement of nails and yellow discoloration after two weeks of application.
Features and Benefits :
- Restores the natural water content of damaged nails and penetrates the nails to ensure optimal hydration
- Promote healthy nail regrowth
Suitable for both fingers and toes. Simply apply on clean nails and massage.
The Locycare nail gel has a light, transparent watery-gel consistency with a slight herb mint fragrance. It dries almost immediately upon massage and left a nice sheen on my nails. Does not leave a sticky after-feel which I really like. The small tube size allows me to bring it along with me anywhere, so I kept it on my work desk to remind myself to apply it regularly in between replying emails and such. :)
Locycare is currently available at selected pharmacies for $19.90 (15g)
